the Tahoe, Trailblazer and the Colorado are very close chassis-wise, at least in the past couple of years.
And anyway you slice it, coming from a GM guy, these things are a fucking joke.

$1.26 a litre? in Brantford? I don't know where you're shopping, but they're overcharging you by at least $0.20

He lives in Alberta, I live in Brantford.

Actually it is because gas is $1.26 per litre and diesel is $0.96 per litre.

That's interesting...here, regular unleaded gas is around $3.00 a gallon (we buy our gas by the gallon here) and diesel is around $3.30 a gallon.

Of course, with the Canadian and American dollars being about the same and you get about 4 liters to a gallon, y'all are still paying a LOT more for either.

If I remember correctly the actual cost of petrol should be around 29 cents a litre, the rest is just blatant and plain taxes.

The market spot price for gasoline in southern Ontario is about $0.80/liter, including all taxes (which amount to about $0.30/liter). The difference is made up in the cost of distribution, and of course, profit.

there was a dude on fullsize bronco who *made* his own polished aluminum body and bought a real hummer hood. put it on an f250 frame with a 7L PSD. Looked pretty damn awesome.

Ill stick with my XJ's and MJ's, and the odd FSJ's. Real SUV's.

67-76 Ford Bronco... voted all time best 4 wheel drive so many times, it's the Neil Peart of the off road universe.
I had a 71 halftop.
302, 3speed manual... 31" BFG's, no lift

78 Bronco with a 460TJ will spank that Wagooners' ass.
my brother had one with a 351W under the hood... yanked it out and slide a TJ in with a C6 auto... ever see a huge Bronco light all four tires up and just spin on it's axis like a toy? Bwahahaha

I think the best total-four wheel drive here is my friend Tyrones' 75 K5 Blazer. it will go anywhere... all it had was a 305, th350, tranny cooler, lockers, modest lift, 31's...

by the way, we might want to kick this over to car talk before it gets hijacked any further.
