Sooo....any noise fans here? And if so, what have you been into lately??
I have lately been completely in love with the new Hototogisu album(members of Double Leopards and Skullflower), Prurient's "Black Vase," Yellow Swans' "Psychic Secession," CCCC, and of course, Magik Markers and other no wave/neo no wave groups
To me, nothing musically represents the decay and emptiness of a nice abandoned site better than noise.
Well...MAYBE some temporary residence or constellation artists...but...yeah.

I'm into some noise, but after living in a noise club for sometime I hate the LA noise scene. I'll still go and see bands that are decent, but I don't go out of my way to go to shows. I've been disappointed by too many kids with guitars and distortion pedals paired with clarinets at the smell or the il coral. They just don't put any thought or effort into their work, or at least that’s the way it comes off. I do plan on putting some thought into a noise show, and in fact, this just inspired me to work on that for the rest of the day. Thanks!
Tourism, human circulation considered as consumption is fundamentally nothing more than the leisure of going to see what has become banal.
