As i sold the Lumina back in march, my life has had a hole in it... I need a junker to take out my frustrations on. So, this morning I solidified the deal for a 1992 Nissan Sentra sedan... $25 (the price of the title search)

I love Nissan's 4 cylinder engines. They got pretty good acceleration.

Skelly... it's a Sentra... compared to what I normally drive, this is like going from warp drive to a turtle.
BUT... I can bounce this one off of guardrails without fear.

The ex* (second most recent one) had a Sentra, it bounced off of guardrails (and phone poles) nicely.

How rusty is it?

*she was sort of a dumb shit, and used to pull out RIGHT in front of cars, then swerve into whatever was on the other side of the road to get away.

Not very rusty at all... it's actually in really good shape for the year. Downside? it has a finicky transmission. When it's cold out, it shifts into overdrive. When its warm, it sits in Drive. Since I only work 18 miles away and I don't give a shit about it... it's not a problem. The guy that has it (skylark95 on here) called a Nissan dealer and they knew exactly what the problem was, and what a titanic pain in balls it is to fix. So, no sensor repair for the Sentra.

As always, pics to follow.

Well, minor hiccup in the winter beater thing. I was preparing to pick the car up this weekend and the phone rings at work... the guy who's yard it was in says that the junkers won't take his dead Blazers unless the Nissan goes with it. I'm like what the fuck? The junkers are 'friends' of mine who wanted the car for the demolition derby... so they, in essence, stole the car and are like fuck you if you don't like it. In fact, they were so bold, they wanted me to stop over after work yesterday and see their demo cars... you know what? You fucking can't trust anyone.

So, the Nissan is gone... what the fuck am I going to find now?

find an old volvo

Just remember one thing...I have to ride in this car with him...and be seen in this car with him, so...Volvo? Umm...depends. Most of them up here are dead meat. At least the one's I've seen.
The nissan wasn't that bad. But, most of the volvo's up here are not just rust buckets, but they're also station wagons.
But seriously...I can't believe this happened and you didn't tell me.
