So, wait, is it ok to use as a closing e-mail line. I know it sounds hokey in person, but I think it would be permissable to use in an email message.

People say all kinds of dumb things in e-mail signoffs "Best" "Truly" "Cordially" "Yours" "Regards"

I'd rather use "Cheers," than any of those.

Also, whoever/whatever made the phrase "good times!" so ubiquitous needs to be crucified.
