Take a top secret tour this Saturday

WHITBY -- Spend the afternoon learning about Whitby's clandestine past this weekend.

Inside Camp-X author Lynn Phillip Hodgson takes the public on a free walking tour of Camp X Saturday, July 28, at noon in Intrepid Park on Boundary Road.

The tour takes you through the grounds of Canada's top secret school for spies and saboteurs during the Second World War. Approximately 500 were trained in the dark arts of silent killing and ungentlemanly warfare.

Guest will see where historic events took place and will learn about the men who brainstormed Camp-X and how they built and staffed the camp.
