stopped to see the Get-Along-Gang on the way home from work and this kid, Quigley, kept coming up and wanting to race... with a beat-to-shit '90 Honda Accord... I was like, um, no... Persistent little fucker just wouldn't give up, so finally we did. Out on the Putnam Flats between Ticonderoga and Whitehall NY... BEAUTIFUL long ass straightaway, REMOTE (especially at 11:45 at night)! 150 is warp speed, folks... it's almost better than sex!

Anyways, I stomped on his Accord (as if there was any doubt), but oddly enough the little red 2005 Evo 8 in attendance wasn't 'in the mood' for a go-round. I think Evo Larry is feeling that he is no longer on top of the foodchain. Another Cobalt SS in the area is now a force to be reckoned with... he's rocking 270hp. I'm jealous. A black 2006 G85 SS is over 245hp... Even though I am ridiculously fast, these guys are HOMICIDALLY fast.

Anyways, a boring Wednesday night in the middle of nowhere...
and, all you audiophiles, the stock system in my SS cranks 118.3db. Yay.

Sam you sound bored as shit. You need to come check out the car scene in Southern California. We would probably get along pretty damned well.

He's always bored for one reason or another. But then again, so am I. The whole issue is our jobs tend to make it impossible to just pick up and take off whenever we want to. For one four day trip, it takes six months of planning and two weeks of cajoling the company to get a vacation, well, at least that's what it took for me.
