Jumpstyle's alright. I prefer some good dark dnb or hard prog trance but I can definately feel jumpstyle more than "traditional" house or hardcore.

What you mean another useless name for electronic music. Trying to state originality by creating another genre which sounds like every other genre.

I mean you have House; Jungle; Jumpstyle(?); Drum and Bass; Industrial; Industrial/EBM; Hardcore(whatever that means, I thought it was a branch of punk. Now the term is used Electronic music and Emo, WTF?); Experimental...

The list goes on, So how is "jumpstyle" any different than all the stuff before it?

There are massive differences between the genres of electronic music. It's all about time signatures, speed, rhythm and vibes. It's really easy to tell the differences between them. I hate it when people dismiss all electronic music as all sounding the same, when really they are as different as any other two genres. Anyone who can't tell the differences either doesn't have a very good ear for music
or is biased against electronica in general (usually due to some ridiculous idea that it takes less talent to put together a wicked track on a computer than it does with "traditional" instruments.)

But yeah jumpstyle reminds me of hardcore without the unlistenable turbo-speed repetition. Hey paragon what DJs/Producers do you like the best? I'd like to check out a bit more.

Sounds too much like alien polka to me but whatever you like.

The only form of electronic I enjoy is big beat.
Acid is alright too.
