i just got a pair of smith and wesson 100P double locking handcuffs.
i can pick the when my hands are cuffed in front of my body, with the key way faceting towards or away from me. i still can't pick the double lock at all only the single and even the single is very hard when my hands are behind me. paper clips do work but not well the sect thing i have found so far is bobbie pins.

anyone else have any info/thoughts on escaping them?

get hinged ones.. they are harder to maneuver in making them better..
also you could always sew a handcuff key onto the inside of your belt..

I slip my hands out. I can collapse my hands to only a bit larger than my wrist.

so i was in a holding cell for 6 hours and my cufs were too tight i picked them with a safety pin (took less than a minute). i forgot to put them back on after a while and fell asleep... ya the guards dont like that at all i caught alot of hell.

I bought one of those leather money belts with the zipper in the back. I kept a hand cuff key and $20 for a cab back there. I don't use this anymore because I figure if they put the cuffs on you they probably have your name. My policy is to run before they have a chance to ask questions. The belt worked great BTW...

I could'nt find it on the us calvery web site, but i've seen it in the catalog. the "belt keeper" handcuff key is what police officers wear. If you ever handcuffed a cop an he got away, It was probably his fold out belt keeper key. that's my two cents, I never leave home without a handcuff key in my back pocket.(havent had to use it yet.)

Not that I dont have some experience picking them, but I have found even my weak self can break them fairly easily if you apply tension in the right place. Although I do prefer picking, I will say its a pain in the ass to pick them behind your back.
