I want to know how I can provent my radio transmitions from being received by security gaurd or police units. I mean, my stereo system picks up taxi comm's nearly every time they drive by, so it can't take much for a more sensitive system to pick up other radio chatter.

Um, how do I check? I'm still waiting on the PC Cable because they shipped the wrong one, but I'm guessing all this can be found when I install that software to check it. Is their any way to check before that?

Anyway nobody answered my question. I want to know how I can prevent unliscenced radios picking up other unliscenced radios' transmissions. Like thos motorola cheapy two way things, that sort of stuff. FRS isn't it? Anyway is there any particular trick to it?

I've heard it's a good idea to keep it off the last channel, and the first channel, because those are the ones they normally use.

I was planing on writing up a basic protocal for FRS security that I have done in another thread. Should do that soon. Basicly it depends on the radios and what programing they have on them. Lastly there is no way to protect FRS (hence my move to Saber secure nets and the 100s involved in that move) Check for a later post. Also I will keep him off.

Which is why I suggested that you keep that guy off this board. If he got on here and started making a nuisance of himself, we wouldn't be able to just go to Av and tell him about it.
