well, friday, i was on the road between Wadhams and Lewis NY and happened across two very interesting cars. One was an 83 Porsche 928 for $4000. Next to that was an 87 Mazda RX7 (NA)... i was more interested in the RX7 (for a 350 swap), but it didn't have a for sale sign on it. The Porsche looked pretty beat. It needed a rear fascia and a hatchback and to top it off, it was a fucking automatic transmission. :(
On top of that, my brother found me (FINALLY!!!) a Citation X-11! Not sure what year. I do know it has a blown crank (early years of the X-11 lunched #4 rod bearing regularly- too small a spring in the oil pump) which is nothing to repair. I think i'm going to get the X-11 even if i have to mortgage off body parts to do it.

928s, alhthough a pretty unique and fun car... are TERRIBLE. Yeah, I'd buy one if I found one reasonably priced, but the electrcal system is a nightmare, and if the car hasn't been meticulously maintaned, you're in for headaches galore )(Engine/Tranny/Torque tube/brakes/etc). Plus, most of them were auto, I'd say 85% of total production.

Sweet news on the X-11... GET IT!
