Any one remember this game? Was probably the ultimate N64 game.

Anybody who's anybody should remember this game.

If you've got Half-Life 2, you better be down with the Goldeneye Source as well.

It was probably the game that made me want an N64 as a kid... until the Playstation came out and I realized that the N64 was terrible in comparison.

Still a classic, though. Controls were a bit wonky, though, if I remember correctly.

i thought i was unbeatable at this game, i always destroyed my friends every time that we played, and then one day, i played my girlfriends little brother (i would have been 17, he would have been 12) and he kicked my ass so bad, it embarrased me forever, i don't think i ever played again after that.

me and my friends always played with proximity mines, and you could not shoot your oponent. you could only shoot the mines. those games were the best. a lot of tense "am i going to die if i go through this doorway" moments

That game wouldn't have been nearly as good if it weren't for the mines. Man those were fun.

Classic, absolutely classic. It was the first FPS I played.

I used to ignore the actual objectives and make up my own for fun sometimes.

Even though Perfect Dark improved on it in almost every way. But Goldeneye is definitely a pioneer.

Pistols with one-hit kills in Severnaya was a hoot.

...And I seem to remember having nightmares about those auto-guns in the single player version of that level.
