So far, the dude with the X11 won't give me a straight answer on the car. He knows what it is, how rare it is and he's worried that the car will just get demo-d or destroyed... I can understand his concerns and yes, the X11 is that fucking rare. Anyways, I ran into someone i know at the michigan stand the other night (a michigan is a northern New York, northwestern Vermont item- it's like a chilidog, but not quite) and he had mentioned that he had the shell of an 86 Camaro which had been a V8/5speed car, but was missing the engine and transmission. I took a look at it yesterday and from what i could tell, not only was it a V8 car, but it had the 1LE goodies on it, for whatever reason. (1LE was the 'cop' package- limited slip rear end, bigger radiator, 4 wheel discs, 160mph speedo)

The body and interior were in decent shape for being a 21 year old Camaro in northern New York, it's just sans an engine and transmission. I was thinking of going old school... maybe a 350 with a pre-82 4speed manual. The guy wants $500 for the shell...
