I remember as a teen living in Peterborough my friends and i would follow Jacksons creek from the Otonabee river ( Little lake ) to Jacksons park
We had lots of fun tracing the creek back as it travelled under Buildings and streets, looking up through sewer grates and of course avoiding the bums who drank under the bridges
Has anyone else taken this trip? Would love to see some pics as well if you have any
As you can see by the map the creek enters Peterborough just north of Parkhill and meanders thru the heart of town under buildings and streets and fenced off and forgotten for the most part by the folks living in town. It emerges once more near the marina and spills into the Otonabee
