Went for a little drive today with a friend ( non-UE type )
WE had to go into Oshawa so that i could pay some bills. As i Entered on to the 401 i noticed a familiar car behind me. It was a vehicle i had seen on the urbexmobile thread. It truly is a small world. I will email that person privately to let them know i was the crazy guy waving at them on the highway

The main reason for the trip was an excursion to Peterborough to visit some guitar shops so after we left Oshawa we followed Simcoe North. We passed through Columbus at which point i prepared to point out to my friend one of the houses i had checked out. To my surprise the house was gone
Not sure if it was moved or demolished but here is the link to the formerSoggy bottom house

Onward towards Peterborough and a short stop in Cavan to show my friend another house. What are the chances i would find two houses in a row demolished?
Well i did!!

Also gone and easily forgotten i guess is this Cavan location (Peterborough county)
Cavan farm DB entry
Didnt get much respect on this website and frankly i did a rotten job documenting it. I visited it on a snowy cold night forgetting my flashlight in the car( used my camera lcd screen to see my way around )

That was about it for the UE part of the day.

Sad to see 'em go. One by one, Durham is being gentrified. Heh...

That place was great, sad that my visit a few weeks back was my last.

Did you notice anything different on your last visit that would suggest it was about to be torn down?

It is still possible they moved it but that house was in rough shape so my best guess is that it got torn down

I doubt they could move something so rotted and decayed. That's why I primarily stay immobile.

lol fedge

I am surprised they tore it down as it seemed like the golf course was kind of built around it. Maybe they had grand plans to use but the cost was too much.

Just a couple of things i wanted to mention. Firstly i wish to thank Fedge for the image of the Columbus house . I used it for the DB entry and again for this thread

Also wanted to mention that both DB entries are publically viewable seeing as they no longer are standing so anyone can view them now

Not a prob. It's not like it was a hard photo to capture. You were standing right next to me when I took it, hehee. I'm just honored you decided to use it in some fashion.
