it's funny... my friend Shawn had a 72 Super Beetle and it was great and then, it just seemed like he didn't care anymore. He blew the engine up and we rebuilt it in his basement. He drove it another month or two and then parked it in his old grandmothers' garage which collapsed that winter on it...

My friend Ron has a Type III coupe (never imported into the US), a racing Beetle and a Thing... and they sit... for 15 years they've sat. And he won't sell any of them!

Nice to see a Bug being saved.
