What swayed it was realising that the only people who sell PMR are aiming it at families and kids who don't know what they are talking about. Which is why they almost never include technical specifications, because they know that the majority of customers won't have a clue what it means.

I suggest you all keep away from PMR, and to Mike I apologise for being a dickhead and sticking up for PMR when you so expertly advised against it.

stick to real radios

pmr and frs r great for kids playing around, but if your ass is on the line do you wanna trust it to a toy. You dont use a cheap crappy flashlight, why use a crappy radio
