Scanning police frequencies is more habit forming than cigarettes... I go to bed every night with an earpice buzzing chatter when I've had a enough the earbud comes out, but once I'm up, I have to hear what's going on. and couldn't drive a mile without proving, testing and improving my knowledge of the codes being tossed.

Seeing a unit screaming down the road with their overheads on--without already nowing what is going on, infurates me, because, rarely. I mean Rarely. does that EVER happen.

once you realize one scanner only lets you hear one conversation at a time throughout your scanning erea, a problem persists, where you feel "left out" of a transmission, and start thinking. I'd like to have two running at the same time...

and yet an other vice to add to the daily repitoire
