unfortunately my experience with the GT series compared to forza is as follows:

forza:
damage
realistic tire squeel
better physics calculations
damage
RL circuits are better portrayed (i.e. laguna seca and the nordeschleif)

GT:
realistic engine noise
superior graphics
more arcade type racing (but still a major step up from say nfs, pgr, etc.)
