I've been a skyline fan for a long time now. I have seen a total of ONE in the US so far, and I can't wait till I actually get to see a new one, not that I'll ever be the one that can afford it.

We've actually got a few zipping around in Canada, last month I was passed by 5 in a row in Toronto, must've been a get-together of sorts. I think Stewie was there for that.

I'd say I see one a week, not including the one I pass every day on my way to work.

Aye I was there. 1 or two R34's I think and an R32. It was an orgasmic sound.

I first saw a Nissan Skyline in April 1996 in an issue of the then fledgling 'Super Street' magazine. I was hooked. It was beautiful, muscular, everything a muscle car should be... and that engine! Ahead warp factor ya-fucking-hoo!

I like the new GT-R... i just doubt that i would ever be able to afford one.

Oh I know, I was there in may. Sweet JDM cars everywhere.

I kinda liked the... get ready... Mitsubishi Delica Super Exceed Diesel 4x4 with Crystal-Lite Roof.

Phew.

Actually... the name was just cool.

If I was to import a Japan-only car... it'd either be an AE-86 Toyota Trueno Sprinter, or a Toyota Corsa GT AWD (Basically, an all wheel drive Tercel)

You know, the more I see of the Trueno, or even just that vintage Corolla, the more I want one. It's funny. Those cars were mostly destroyed as they were cheap, imported econo-box beaters in the mid-80's. Who knew that they would actually be worth something, or have a cult following 20+ years down the road?

I'd rather have an r34. Honestly. Everyone's going to have the new one.

Exactly... 10 years ago, I didn't know the difference between a Corolla GT-S and a Corolla LE sedan. Now I love the things.

It's funny, the (affordable) car I would most like to have, more than anything is a 1978-1982 Tercel Hatchback. And I can't find one anywhere.

Agreed. The new one is totally fucking sexy though. I'm glad they continued the tradition of twin turbo V6.

It's SUPPOSED to be an inline six!

Inline > V. No debate necessary.

Better torque curve, no balance shaft, etc.

If Chuck Stickley can squeeze 400+ bhp out of a normally aspirated 3.2L I-6, I'm sure car manufacturers can figure out how to do it at a relatively low cost compared to what he spent.
