So I've gotten addicted to Dream Theatre in the last year or so. Primarily it was Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence that got me hooked. I've since bought Change of Seasons and the newest album, Systematic Chaos which I also found quite good. I've fallen in love with Mike Portnoy's drumming.
Anyone else a Dream Theatre fan?

I have always admired Dream Theatre... they are true musicians... and play many Rush covers. They do a cover of Red Barchetta that will tear your face off.

Yeah, I liked them when I was in college. You should definitely check out their rock-opera Metropolis Part 2: Scenes from a Memory. Its my favorite album of theirs

Yay for Long Island bands! I have Train of Thought, it's pretty good stuff, but 12 minute songs do get a bit boring for a whole album.
