Just on my way back from Oshawa heading east on the 401 and noticed a huge fire near Courtice road. Thought it was the truck stop but as i got closer and exited onto the ramp i seen that it was the Courtice doll house.Thirty or more cars were pulled over watching the blaze i am sure many of them not knowing it was an abandoned house. As i drove past i noticed the flames had totally encompassed the house.The fire trucks had still not arrived at this time but were there shortly afterwards

I just saw the shell of the place today. Wow, took the arsonist a while to get at this one. Also, on my drive today, I noticed an abbondoned house on Hwy 57, north of number two and south of Longworth..... Looked very accessible, and was wondering if it is in the data base?? Does anyone know?

I dont know of any place up that way. Must be a new one

You know what, I screwed up with the location... I am going to look again tomorrow.... I drove by the direction I had posted earlier, and I was wrong..

I just can't believe Durham Region is FINALLY installing traffic lights at 57 & Longworth after it being one of the scariest intersections around for three years running!
