I've gotten into UE photography relatively recently, compared to band photography. Since I got my first camera I've been taking pictures at shows, mainly punk. I thought I'd share some of my photos and I hope some of you can do the same.
None of these are bands any of you would've heard of, so if possible I'll link their myspace page where you can hear them.
Suck Stuff
A punk band currently heavily influenced by Social D. The guitarist in front here, an old UE partner of mine, just surprised everyone by going into the US army. He left for basic on Thursday, and this was his last show last Sunday.

A local straight-edge band.

A skinhead band heavily influenced by '70s UK punk rock.
Things We Say
A youth-crew hardcore band, similar with the Geeks. The lead singer is one of my favourite photographic models, because he really makes strange faces when he sings, he really moves, jumps a lot, and he's short enough to always fit in frame.

Korea's most hated punk band. The lead singer, this guy, spent three months in jail for streaking on stage during a live TV performance. As you can see I'm a big fan of long exposures combined with flash and camera movement to make ghost images.
Shorty Cat
In Asia, girl is a subgenre of punk with its own distinct sound, from Lolita 18 in Japan to Hang on the Box in China, with Shorty Cat in between in Korea. Gotta love the stage strobelight.

Inspired by MC5 type music, kind of a proto-punk band. They're a strong up-and-coming band. The bassist, not pictured, is an experienced underground musician who's formed four awesome bands over the years.

I would say the world's best living ska band. I paid a buttload of money to bring them to Korea while they were on tour in Japan, and made all of it back on ticket sales.
