Klaxons - Myths of the Near Future

One of the best shows I went to I assume was for that album/ tour/ what ever the hell they did. I got a full pass from someone that didn't know how horribly irresponsible that was, stole most of the Klaxons' booze, hid under the stage and made weird noises then proceeded to do the ol' howdayado with this model I was dating in the electrical closet. I still have the keys... Oh, I didn't like the music at all, but it was a great night at their expense.

Still, the best show I went to in 07 was either getting beat up by bouncers at the Masque Cafe Reunion Show, The New Motherfuckers (Pizza), Ego Plum and the Ebola Music Orchestra or every day at the club I lived in by the name of Zamakibo.

Looking back it wasn't that bad a year.

Tourism, human circulation considered as consumption is fundamentally nothing more than the leisure of going to see what has become banal.

	I went to Mindless Self Indulgence's DVD release show at Mr. Smalls in Pittsburgh. Best show I've ever been to. The venue was an old converted church with amazing acoustics, and the band had more energy than I've ever seen. The banter was hilarious, the music was tight, and the openers, Julien-K, rocked too.
