They do call it the Topolino though....or do they. maybe its just the 500.

Some fiats are cool cars like the Jolly (just like the goofyness of it) or the 850 spyder. I kinda have a spot for 124s but I just dunno. The body by Pininfarina looks good but.....

Anyway old Topolinos used to be the thing in the 60s and 70s for the drags.

This is circa 1970, at the now long gone Dallas International Motor Speedway
(note I had about 100 of these slides made into photos, they were sitting in a closet for 20 years so some were worse for wear...my dad shot them all)

I love the Fiat 124... used to have a customer with an early 80's turbo model. Very sweet little car.

My favourite Fiat? The Bertone X1/9. Used to have one, never should have sold it. It was a VERY italian looking shade of red, with gold basketweave deep-dish Momo rims and it looked GREAT! Especially with the Targa top removed...

The interior was very Italian sports car like, too... tan leather, very utilitarian full sweep gauges, everything on an individual rocker switch, etc...

Now... performance? I'm pretty sure an automatic Kia Rio could walk the thing. But it sure looked good.
