If so, why?

As a fallen Catholic, the best I can hope for is Limbo, which doesn't even exist anymore. Shit. I don't think I'm bad enough for eternal damnation, yet I'm no angel as Gregg Allman would sing. I don't have tattoos, though, nor piercings. I guess I'll probably end up in Heaven by default. Yeah me!

Well, as a practicing Christian, all I can say for sure is that I'll go where God decides to put me. I hope that will be with God. But I can't say as I really do this for the promise of a schmantzy reward. I do it because I believe it is right.

I've done way too many bad things to get to heaven. Plus, most of the people I know are going to hell so I'd hate it if I were to be separated from them for eternity.

Still betting that all religion is a social framework constructed by people to gain control over other people, I have to say I plan to rot in the ground.

If I'm wrong though, I am so going to Hell.

If there was one, then I would be all up in it, even despite the fact that I know there is not.

I'm probably one of the few Christians NOT motivated by the promise of heaven. I tend to view eternity in paradise as being somewhat boring after awhile, as I imagine anything lasting forever would be, although I do hope to be proven very wrong.

I look at it this way, if I practice my faith and there is no afterlife, I'll never know anyway. The worst that has happened is that I believed in a fantasy, tried to live my life by a good moral code, was nice to people I really didn't have to be and maybe missed out on a few things I could have done without guilt. Best case is that I won't rot in hell. I can handle that.

Hey, I'm pretty opened minded. When presented with evidence I'll admit to being wrong. I'll have to try and look composed as I tell someones god "Looks that way from the ground. Aerial view is alot different..."

my personal theory is that if god actually exists, he won't punish people with eternal damnation for not getting baptisted. if you live a modest life and don't do anything outrageous, then a truly benevolent god wouldn't punish you. i've never murdered, stolen (to a large degree), or defiled any holy places, so i would like to assume i'm going to heaven.

I think the best course of action is to dig up some juicy dirt on this God fellow and just extort your way into heaven.

I'm going to battle a bunch of demons blocking my way through a series of 365 gates to reach paradise. Each subsequent demon will present a harder riddle or fire based attack and only through my studies of hidden knowledge and Dragonball Z will I be able to attain a Supersaiyan level high enough to become god on some other planet inhabited by Mormons. Or something like that anyway.

You decide not so much by your actions but by your attitudes. The cool-ass-mother-fucker gets into the club not because he did anything but because he is a cool-ass-mother-fucker. The guy that only thinks he's a cool-ass-mother-fucker but knows he's not won't get in and most squares won't unless they're so square that they're just cool-ass-mother-fuckers in disguise.
