Nice! I have about 1500 toy/model VW Beetles, and a small collection of various 1/24th scale cars, and some HO scale.

Nice collection!!

i used to build models... the crown jewel was a 1995 Chevy S10 SS... the paint was done like a real car. Black base, silver metallic, purple metallic, blue metallic. Instead of using the stock wheels that came with the kit, I substituted wheels from an 82 Z28 model I had given up on. Under the model, I sanded and cut the suspension down a little to give it a pissed off rake. Under the hood, I stripped copper speaker wire down out of the cases and braided it to the nearest gage I could for the spark plug wires. I used a heavy red paint for the color with the wires stretched across a pegboard for stringing ice fishing poles.... sll in all the model took me maybe a month, maybe a little less to build.
It took 4 seconds for it to fall out of a box and tumble down a flight of stairs when i moved to Maryland... all that work, gone.
:o(
I haven't built one since.

I like the 1:18 models though they are space consuming. I have around 20, though I haven't added anything in a long time now.

yeah 1:18s are really cool, I have those on the top shelf so you cant see them really. Majority of mine are 1:43 and 1:50 but I do have a bunch of 1:24.

Also some 1:72 aircraft (ww2) that I built.

hell yeah, that is about the only thing I still have that my mom didnt throw out or sell in a garage sale......my hot wheels, I think I prolly only have about a hundred of them.

Now Micro Machines is a different story, I was obsessed with those. I have about 1000 of them I estimate.

I guess my mom cant take all the credit for getting rid of my stuff. I did blow up my fair share of starwars and G.I. Joe figures......courtesy of the old school M-80, jumping jacks and of course black cats.

Nice cars....got a thing for Ferrari's do we?!? Lol! It's amazing the prices for some of the small scale cars. I was flipping through a "pricebook" a few years ago and came across a couple of cars that i had and damn near fell over when i seen what they put as a valued price. Needless to say, i went home, dug the cars out and packed them a little more properly!!

Thanks for the compliment! To be quite honest about 50 pct. of my collection was my fathers that I received when he passed. And Ferraris......yes they are my love!
I you look at the first post the 2nd shelf is nothing but. My grandpa has (well had) quite a few of them. Just like I told Sam I am certainly no spoiled brat or anything. I have busted my ass and knuckles (hehe) to get what I have.

This is the only one we still have, Its been with us a long time.

Recently the 246 Dino and 250 Lusso were sold at an auction in Houston (Worldwide) to my discontent

*edit* btw: I also have the prancing horse tattooed on my upper arm. But that was in memory of my Grandpa when he passed.
