I'm a skills USA member, and yesterday I took the PC repair contest to go to regionals then states and possibly nationals. First and second place contestants go on to regionals and first place go to states. So I took the PC Repair contest and placed 2nd, almost placing 1st but I missed some bad ram. Then I took the programming contest today and placed 1st. So I am happy. I almost did the analog circuits contest, but I didn't have time.

Not for a career just a hobby. I want to get into IT network administration.

I completely forgot about SkillsUSA! I took part in a competition during high school for computers. I didn't place as well at you at the time. I remember one of the problems was a computer that was in a loop when booting up, which I solved by just putting win.com in the autoexec.bat file. I didn't know about the loop command at the time but I fixed the problem, sorta!

It worked yesterday!

I have a friend Jorge, and he's really big in SkillsUSA, like he has placed in Nationals and everything.

I wish I could have gotten into it when I was still an underclassman, because I love working with components and such. I was born to be an electrical engineer, I say, but I'll just settle with being a diplomat...
