Fiat Panda

and who could forget the YUGO. This guy had one in high school and he had the washer fluid jets pointed forward so he could spray the car in front of him

they were a flop, yes, but you ask anyone that has one and they love it. It's going to be one of those cars, like the Pacer, Gremlin, Pinto, Chevette, et al., that's going to have a niche market well into the future. You don't build a car that fugly and not have a cult behind it. By the way, urban legend behind the Aztek/Rendezvous was that the project manager was fired by Lutz, personally.

i personally liked the aztek better than the rendezvous, i once had an aztek as a loaner, it was quite enjoyable

I drove a rendezvous for 6 months when i couldn't afford my transmission to be fixed.

It was awesome. heated seats, dual climate control. all sorts of cool stuff.
Sure the wheel bearings went ot it, but i didn't die!

it was pretty ugly though.

What about the Citroen 2CV? I love these things. Had one up to 120 km/h on the 401 this past fall (Going downhill with a powerful tailwind), which isn't bad at all for a 2 cylinder air cooled car.

I thought I was going to be killed when anything larger than a minivan passed me. These things have the structural rigidity of a tent.

Crank down windows are over-rated.

Concept of a new 2CV. Eww.

I'm willing to bet this car has 2 too many cylinders.

Pontiac Rageous.

mmmmm Rageous.

Well, if the Rageous is a harbinger of what's cooking, it looks like Pontiac's back. This nasty red concept boasts a 315-hp V8 beneath its Ram Air hood. The sporty coupe has a smaller, secondary rear door on each side. And speaking of large, Rageous can carry your standard 4 x 8-ft. sheet of plywood or drywall inside.

To be fair, that Mantis is really old, it actually got better looking as time went on. Does anyone know if they are still being produced? The latest one i could find was a 2002 model.

That Pontiac Rageous is a good looking car!!! I'm surprised i don't remember it. It is similiar to the RX-8 though, but older!! I don't see any styling cues from that car that made it to production, except maybe for the wheels, which the Sunfire had a similiar type.
