Yesterday, as I was pulling into the parking lot of where I work, the Cavalier summarily quit. Died. Expired. Did the same thing it did back before Christmas. Right then and there, I made a decision that I had had enough of this fucking car and called a friend of mine who has a towing business. I told him to come and get the car. It was his. I wanted it gone. I'm not putting anymore money in the fucking thing.

I think what pisses me off the most was the fact that I'm a pretty good judge of cars and the fact that this piece of shit flew in under my radar really shakes my confidence. The people that had this car knew what a piece of shit it was when they sold it to me. I spent $500 on a car that I drove, out of the 4 months I had it, a handful of times. And the other thing that pisses me off is the fact that the garage that had worked on said that it was fixed... I've had the car back two weeks and it fails again. Um, sorry no more. Fuck that. I've had enough.

I drove that fucking Lumina all last winter and had no problems with it all, and I mercilessly piss-pounded that car just because I could and it NEVER failed. Ever. Sure it leaked gas everywhere, sure the seasons shifted faster than the seasons, but at least i drove that thing everyday! This fucking thing sat more than I drove it!

Anyways.

I've had to do that before with two cars... first was an '87 Dodge Daytona Pacifica. I bought it when I was 17, it was beautiful... white, t-tops, turbo, every option imaginable, and EVERYTHING broke on that car. Fucking EVERYTHING. I was told it needed a muffler to pass safety when I bought it (I didn't know a lot about cars then), and was also told it had a new engine.

So, it cost me $1800 to make it pass safety (EVERY caliper needed to be replaced, and rear calipers were $230 each), whole exhaust system, both coil springs, the neutral safety switch, and a bunch of other crap. Then, on the way home, the engine just fucking exploded.

Put a new engine in it like 2 months later, and the tranny went... so I abandoned it in my field, eventually sold it to a guy, who paid me but never picked up the car, and about 3 years later, I ran it over with a Jeep (Which felt GREAT)

The other was my VW Fox... which just drove me nuts. It finally had a fire.
