I don't mean to be hard at all, I just went through a similar ordeal myself but the fact is very clear. Chicks don't like unemployed dudes and they really don't like ones that don't have a place of their own.

we lived together for 2 years and then decided to move to Baltimore md from buffalo ny, the plan was to live with her sister and her husband for a month or two to get on our feet. we both found jobs down there but weren't able to afford our own apartment and we were both miserable had no money or friends and i finally decided to move back. she also wanted to move back and was going to save some money and move back in April.

then shit went sour and she all of a sudden decided she didn't wanna move back. she was up this weekend returning the stuff i left down there and she needed to get her car fixed and inspected, we were supposed to spend the entire weekend together. instead we went to dinner the 1st night and she dumped me out of no where. 2nd night we were gonna go out for coffee to talk then go to a friends. well we got coffee talked for 20 mins then she left. we went to lunch today before she drove back to md and now i just feel like utter and total shit.

This is indeed a shitty time,no escaping that (unless you take WR's advice). I had a relationship for seven years that ended suddenly,and almost four years later it still bothers me to some degree.

Some people feel better by jumping into something else right away,and others like to take time for themselves. I'd suggest doing everything you can to keep busy right now and most importantly retain your pride by not grovelling or begging her to come back,hard as that may be. Call it a cliche,but you're still a young'n,and you have plenty of time to find someone who cares about you as much as you do her.

Dude, you need to get a job. Not just for the simple fact that you probably NEED one, but more importantly (for you right now) is that you need the distraction. Like they say, an idle mind is the devil's playground. In other words, as long as you have nothing to do to pre-occupy yourself, you'll be miserable over this.

And try to remember the lousy, shitty times you had together. You said yourself it wasn't the best relationship anyway, so I'm sure you have plenty to think about. A big mistake that most people make is dwelling on the good times. I am ordering you to just remember the bad ones. I swear it helps.

Like Wiccan said, your young and there will be other women out there to treat you the way you should be treated. We all have our share of fuck-tards that pass in and out of our lives. You'll survive and get over it, just like we all do.

And go out and take WR's advice. Its easier to get over someone if you put someone else underneath you!! Or on top of you . . . whatever you prefer.

i got a few interviews coming up. i'm just having a hard time with this cause we were almost never apart for 2 years, neither of us had any real friends i could tell her ANYTHING and now i have no one to talk to.

Dude, I'm not being cute. Really. Go fuck somebody.
