Ok, you said it before I could...

Just sell it to me.

I'd love too, but they just won't let it happen.

I'm pursuing another option at the moment, but this is on the back burner.

Dude, it's a 240. Rear ending it will just scratch the bumper... We have a plan in action. I'll post results soon.

depends what hits it.. I kinda always thought the same thing about my old 79 Volare, untill of course one of those larger ambulances railed into me going 60.. No matter how much of a tank something is theres something larger and heavier with more steel out there..
if some plastic rice nipper hits it, you'll have to buff out the scratches, but something like an older larger truck going at a half decent pace it won't really have a chance..

Hrm. Valid point. However, you'd have to push from both ends to do much damage or rear end me with a semi and that would do more damage to me than the car. Seriously. This thing bounced off a telephone pole and only scratched the clear coat.... and temporarily dented the door until i broke out the hammer.

Hell just take it to walmart and let them change the oil. I used to work there and let me tell ya most of the techs ( notice I didnt say all) are not mechanical in nature. They are just goin thru the paces. Trust me the one I worked at had a claim every week and bought atleast one engine a month. If that doesn't work pull the drain plug out the rear end and let it go. It will sieze eventually.

I don't blame people for thier mistakes, but I do expect they pay for them.

Just leave the rad cap off/loose while driving. It's nice and hot outside now, so do that and then try to drive up a hill. That's the kind of situation that destroyed my 88 stanza.

Well. I didn't have to destroy it after all. It's serving as DD while the bimmer stays in the garage during the week. But I may have to, so I can replace it with a 325iX.
