How much interest is there in doing a SW Ohio Meetup this spring (preferably before or after the first half of May) that would cover locations in Dayton, Cincy, and in between?

I think you'd pretty much have to determine one urban center as in a day in the Dayton area or a day in the Cincinnati area.

We tried to have one over Spring but everyone seemed busy. I know I'm booked up till June when school lets out, I alternate between going back to Cincy to work one weekend then shooting on assignment the next and so forth until finals week.

We just need to bite it and do it.

Lets set a date mid summer, pick some locations, give people plenty of time to make sure they can have those days off etc.

Lets. There is plenty around and I don't think it's out of the question to even say, "We'll do a day in Cincinnati and one in Dayton" if that what's fair. When is school out for you? We're done early May.

We like to be different from all those other schools and go on quarters, my last final is on the 15th of June.... God Damnit.

I'll be in New York City all summer, from mid June to mid September, so I won't be able to do a summer meet-up.

I'm always down for quickie explorations though, most weekends. There are plenty of sights I've been eying but don't want to go at alone.

I'm free after April. I graduate in early May and will be jobless after that.

I'll be in China between April 29th-May 17th, and my school year ends in early June (Wright State is on quarters as well). However, I'm going to be joining the National Guard, and I'm going to have to do 6 weeks of basic some time during the middle of the summer, so for me probably some time between now and mid June, barring that couple week period of Apr 29-May 17.

I'm also willing to make some weekend quickies down to Cincy to check out the sites. If anyone has any locations in Cincy they want to hit up on a weekend and needs a splorin partner, just shoot me a PM.

So why don't we nail down a good date then in mid June and weather pending we'll do some Cincy splorin.

The weekend of the 14-15 would be my best date. Gordon, you said your last final is the 15th, but that's a Sunday, are you going to be back on the 15th?

Maybe you could start up a forum on your page for locations, unless people are comfortable posting them in here?

June 14th/15th is good for me. Any news yet as far as your schedule?

Unfortunately I am now screwed and will be going to my last final on the morning of the 14th, driving to Fort Wayne that night for wedding, then back home sometime on the evening of the 15th.

Do we want to squeeze in a meeting the evening of the 15? I am leaving for NYC for 3 months on the 16 or 17.

Unfortunately on the 15th I will be coming back from Indiana and can't squeeze anything in. Maybe on the 16th. Damn you Ram and your career exploits. :p

I'm pretty much in Cinci every week, so let me know if anyone wants to meet up for lunch, coffee, dinner, etc. I'm in full dress for interviews and whatnot, so I need a place to change if we do any exploring.
