	Found a car I've been seeking for quite a while, a '68 MGB GT. Car is complete, runs (not well, the stromberg carbs are screwed as usual), has wire wheels, all trim is in good shape, but the car itself is kinda rusty... definitely needs floorplans, but I've got lots of resto experience. I can PROBABLY get it for $500. Thoughts?

	If you do restore it, it'll be worth a fuck-load in the not-so-distant future (idk what current mint value is...). Granted, it's not cheap to restore it... Moss Motors is your friend! They're wonderful apparently... I'd say GO FOR IT! Lovely bit of kit... -Cody

	Hell yeah you NEED. Gotta love the MGB GT. Always wanted one. Besides being British (elec. system) there is no reason not to. We had a TC when I was a kid. Its what I learned to drive a manual on.

	oh jesus. a 1968 MGB GT???? may i remind you that the company called itself "British Leyland" in 1968? Talk about a project car that will never run for long. they look incredibly frigging awesome though. I'd totally buy it, if it wasn't going to cost endless amounts in repairs. May want to keep the frame and body, and put something that can be repaired under the hood ;) the put a big "Pinnafarina" sticker on it. Preferably on the hatch, since that's all they designed do you have any pictures of it?

	Hahaha... well i AM a licensed mechanic and have lots of Brit car experience, I've found far worse cars than MGs! (Like Jags... which I would also love to own several of) I'm gonna go take a better look on sunday, and I'll snap a few pics.

	I vote for the restomod route. Drop in a modern fuel injected motor, say a turbo 4 or a V6, update the suspension and brakes and you got yourself a unique and great tourer!!! Most of my projects have been of this type of late.

	there is a guy in my other club (google 'Champlain Valley Classic Cruisers') that has a 350 V8 stuffed into an MG... you don't want any of that car in a street race!
