1999 Oldsmobile Bravada Gold 4.3 for school and work <--Major headache but I like it.
1998 BMW 323IS for fun and friends

I also might be picking up an older Jimmy S15 with a dead 4.3 to put a ford flathead I got lying around in.

So what are your daily drivers?

Good inconspicuous vehicle for 'splorin. We've also figured out that it's pretty much invincible.

Really? Hm. Ohio's usually bad about vehicles rusting out too, but this one doesn't have any and as far as I know it's been in this area all it's life...Previous owner must've just taken good care of it. Only problems were a few dings and the clearcoat peeling off, as you can see on the corner of the hood.

LMAO

In high school after football practice we used to go out into the parking lot and tip one just like this over. The guy who owned the car was one of my buddies so its not like we were screwing with some kid.

But point is after all the abuse the car always started. Far as I know its still 'valve ticking' away in town here.

Yeah, from my experiences, Tercels are pretty much indestructable, aside from rust.

A friend of mine had an '86 Tercel for a field car... no rad, no alternator. It lasted about a year like that, and we'd run it for up to 3 hours at a time... it finally threw a rod, although it still somewhat ran after that.

I was given an '89 Tercel (My first Toyota), which I drove the living crap out of as a winter car. It wouldn't die, but the body was vanishing at a rapid rate, so I made it into a race car, and ran it at Brighton speedway for the season. Drove it off the trailer the day I scrapped it.
