Signal Propagation Maps

So I'm looking for software that can map the signal coverage of a repeater system. I've tried Radio Mobile, but it's too complicated to learn for one simple task.

Anyone know of software for either Mac or PC that I can buy (free is good too) for the sole purpose of mapping signal propagation/coverage?

Thanks!

I use Radio Mobile. It was annoying at first, but once you are used to it - its great, and very versatile.

I'm not at a computer right now so I can't post an example, but if you do a google search for "VE3MIS Repeater", their website has some good coverage maps made with RM. I had made up a hybrid one with York, Durham, Toronto, Peel and Halton PS system towers that looked pretty cool.

I was thinking of making one for the Bell Fleetnet system and plotting it onto a regular Ontario road map, but that never materialized all that well...heh.

Does Radio Mobile need to have web connections to make the map? Or how do I do that? Cuz my PC laptop can't connect to the net, but my Mac can.

Yes, it does. I believe they are working on a version (which might be out now) that interfaces with MapPoint on your PC, but I've not looked in awhile.
