Posted by jeepdave I liked Nirvana. I really did. I mean I don't have a shrine to Kurt in my closet but I enjoyed his music. Many rockers get overrated just because the died, such as Joplin, Elvis, and Hendrix. You could argue that Elvis built his fame before his death and you would be right, but he wouldn't be the legend he is now if he had lived to an old age and died quietly in his bed at 85. Some of em, the best thing that ever happened to their record sales was their death.

I still like Nirvana. Lyrics just hit home at the time, I was 13 when Nevermind was released.
