I was working in a science bldg this week that has 2 floors, an attic, and a basement. It was pretty wide open. Went up to the attic and saw a hatch to the roof, didn't try it but will in the not too distant future. Also, the basement had labs and what smelt like animal housing. Lots of cool test-tubey thingies laying around. There's some work going on, so I'll be careful. No one was around to even say a peep though. I need to d/l some pics off my camera before I can take more, so that's first. Probably not too exciting, but I haven't explored in forever so it was thrilling to me.

Sounds neat. Science buildings have animal labs for testing quite often, but they are usually really well locked up, both for integrity of testing and because of those crazy eco-terrorists. I work for an architecture firm that designs labs like that, and some of the places are amazing; I only wish they become abandoned sometime soon!
