I would suggest the mamiya 6 but you are looking for a slr not a range finder. I still suggest the mamiya 6 regardless.

That certainly is nice. But pricey.

That image almost looks like a cable release,/flash trigger thingamombob. I've never seen those and have used a bronica myself for a while.

It is, the reason I posted that picture was just to show where the cable release socket was. It was the first picture I could find that clearly showed it.

No I got that, but it just looks like they are one unit which is extremely bizarre (both flash and cable release). It might not be that, but I'm lazy to google it.

I've never been a fan of properity stuff. I have a TLR that has a propriety release, in addition to a 'normal' one.

It was in the store forever, until he admitted he couldn't fix the problem. Now I have it back, but I am working on a Blurb book of a collection of pictures of me picking my mother's nose. This is very time consuming, so I haven't really used the camera.

Oh and my exploring friend doesn't love me no more, so my plans keep on getting cancelled (and my heart broken.)

Why are you creating a book of you picking you mom's nose? Kinda disturbing if you ask me...

I'm pretty sure the one shot cable release is used with a digital backs. I believe the second cable is the wake up cable. This would wake up the digital back to get it ready for the capture.

Another 6x6 SLR is the Graflex Norita 66 (which I recently purchased). Looks like a Pentax 67, though a little smaller.

Are you insinuating that the Pentax 6x7 / 67 are large?
I love mine... but carrying both of my bodies, and 3 or 4 lenses, all together, is like carrying another person on your shoulders. Good workout, but not suited for fast, discreet exits.

Only if you've got the optional wood-grip fitted, if not its relatively svelte! Neko.

I have an rz67 but was thinking of picking up a rolleiflex. Any reason no one mentioned it for a 6x6?

Yeah. The thread is titled "6x6 slrs." The Rolleiflex is not an SLR.

While yes, most Rolleiflex's are TLRs, they did (and do) produce a 6x6 SLR.

The Hy6 (mod2) and the 6008

But they're super pricey
