1 - Something different from sports, would make a nice photograph for a "feature" story in a magazine.

2 - Can't see the faces and can't see the ball, you have a better action shot in this set (3).

3 - Nice action shot, looks a little bit overexposed.

4 - Three is a better action shot, in this one you can't see any emotion on the faces.

5 - Very original sports photo with the rain frozen like that, almost looks like snow, very cool.

6 - Six is a picture of a turtle.

In 2, I don't know whether to leer at the massive skidmark or the implied fellatio.

I'm actually going to shoot my first sports shots this week so I found this thread pics pretty interesting.

I thought 1, 2, and 3 were much stronger than 4 and 5.
Then I saw people's comments about number 2 and agree with them, so you can scratch number 2 for me and just make it an 'okay' shot. In number two, it's a cool moment in time you've captured for baseball fans, but for non-fans it just isn't as interesting for everyone that may view it.

Is it snowing in number 5?

In number 6, I like turdles. Nice dof on this shot. This is up there with number 2 for the best two shots of this set.

You may or not know this, but I'm going to blabble it anyway... Baseball is one of the more difficult sports to photograph. You have some good ones in numbers 1-3, but they went downhill in 4-5. I actually read this guide today. I found it very interesting. It looks like you know a lot of what this guide covers, but it also might give you a tip or two if you're going to do more sports photography.

EDIT: Oh yah, the link I was talking about... http://photo.net/learn/sports/overview
