| | | Posted by Samurai PREPARE YOURSELF FOR DESTRUCTION!!!!!!!!! Remember kids, when driving a standard transmission, completely remove your foot from the clutch pedal. It's not an F-16, you don't need both feet on the pedals. hehehe... on my 98 Cavalier, I got 217,000 miles out of the factory clutch.
| Definitely. That was what I was told when I learned to drive a stick. The '79 Zephyr station wagon I had for my last two years of college was also a standard and despite the fact that my brother and I both learned to drive standard on it, was used as a company vehicle by my Dad and generally took a beating, was still driving on its factory clutch when it went to the scrap yard at the ripe old age of 10 yrs. Of course, when the temp was below -10, the car wouldn't start or when it was damp out, the car complained big time.
| Gone for a while. Be back when I'm back. |
