| | | This happened to a guy one of my friends knows, and he told me about it. He swears it's 100% true. Basically there are a bunch of young girls around here - 13, 14 years old - who are registering on places like onemodelplace.com as models. They look older than they are and they don't admit their real age. They use hotmail and gmail email addresses with fake contact information. They're hooking up with 20-25 year-old guys who're into photography and want to shoot attractive female models without spending any money (basically every guy with an SLR is in this category) and arranging to do a shoot with them in some remote location that she suggests. When they're there, they'll do some regular shots, and she'll flirt with him a lot, and flatter the guy - tell him how comfortable she feels, and how much she appreciates his obvious artistic abilities. Then, shyly, she'll admit that she's always quite liked the idea of doing some nude work. Would he, she will ask, be prepared to take some nudes of her now? She's embarrassed to ask, you see, but she trusts this guy so much and she feels safe with him. All she asks is that she gets raw copies of the pictures. Being a guy, he agrees. Maybe he's smart and he asks for ID from her; she's sorry, she didn't know she'd be doing this - she doesn't have any ID with her. But it's not a problem, right? She's already in her bra by this point so of course he's easily persuaded that ID isn't that important. So she gets naked and let's him take all the photographs he wants. She even suggests some poses that shock him with their sexual explicitness. They part on good terms, and all is well - until he sends her the pictures. Then the scam is revealed. She deletes her online profile. She cancels the email address. And she phones him up from a callbox to say, hi, you're a child pornographer, and I need $1000 or I'm going to the police to say you dragged me out to the middle of nowhere and forced me to pose for you. Apparently they've done this to several guys around here now and it's happening all over the country. So be careful if you're a hobby photographer... be suspicous of any girl you don't know really well who volunteers for nude shots, and don't trust any ID they give you. You never know.
Edit: Just to be clear, I don't believe a word of this which is why I've posted it here in "Urban Legends" and I certainly don't approve of accidental or deliberate child porn!

| | | Posted by A. Lien That's hilarious and (to me at least) totally unbelievable for one reason: After that sorta clever but devious and evil set up, she only asks for 1000.00. To go that far and ask for so little just doesn't ring true. 10 to 50K, and I might consider it may have happened once or twice. Your source for this story was? Oh, and apparently Britney Spears has been actually diagnosed with a (hush)
mental illness
| Who hasn't? That aside, this 'being a guy, he says yes' shit is fucking shit. If any of this is even remotely true, the guy's a tool. Period.
