I was surprised to find there was no private sports board. I thought I would see if anybody that enjoys exploring enough to hang out on this website also is a sports fan. Talk about whatever you want. I myself tend to mainly watch college football and pro basketball but I'm interested in just about all of them.

Sweet! I prefer the NFL, NHL, and NHRA.

Yea, NFL is pretty sweet. Preseason is here! I grew up near Detroit so I will also pay attention to Hockey. You almost have to be a Red Wings fan to live in Michigan.

Thank goodness the preseason is here! Just a few more weeks and then I can watch my favorite team (Chiefs) get their butts kicked every game!

If you live that close to "Hockeytown" then you had better like the Red Wings! The fans there take their hockey very seriously. I have heard that if you even mention "Montreal" then you are probably going to get a beating!

Farve needs to give it up! He is making an ass out of himself.

Agreed. I think both Farve and the Packers are acting like a bunch of babies.

I forgot to mention that I am a New York Rangers fan. I know, I know. Everybody but me hates the Rangers.

It could be worse, you could be a yankee's fan!

So Farve got traded to the Jets last night. This season gets more and more interesting by the day.

That it does! The Jets have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL (via off-season acquisitions) and have fantastic talent at wide receiver and running back. Throw in Favre and wow! This is getting exciting!!

I'm curious to see what will happen to Pennington. He is definitely leaving NY now.

I think the Farve trade has made them a shoe in for a least a wild card slot. I could see Pennington going to Minnesota but who knows, I don't think anything will happen till the end of the season.

I love sports. Im a genuine USC and Chargers fan. Those are my local teams, so im sticking with them. No bandwagon here! Lakers and Angels rule too. I love living within 30 miles of all these major sports teams, and 100 from the Chargers.

Raiders, NO. Never. Ever. They would have to disown their fanbase and reputation they have with gang affiliation before i would even think about thinking about them They suck too, but thats not why i hate them

Did you guys see the lame Chargers/Bronco game this weekend? Would it be any more possible to hand a team a game on shitty officiating? I dont think so.

when you're talking Hockeytown, you'd better be talking about Buffalo, son.

now, for football, I am a Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks fan.
