	Looking for a cheap way to get Power Point for my laptop. Ideas? I can buy it, but I'd really rather not pay the $119 they want for it new. Thanks!

	Do you know that you definitely need PowerPoint, specifically? There are alternatives.

	yes, sadly it has to be PowerPoint. I generally don't like to support Microsoft, but there ya go.

	Open Office has their alternative called "Impress" that can create, edit and save Powerpoint documents.

That's a good idea to at least try with - Almost every powerpoint I've worked with has worked in OpenOffice with little or no changers (you might want OxygenOffice, though, it's a repackaged version of OpenOffice with clipart, scripting, etc built-in) - Either that or look on eBay for older versions (Office 2000, Office 2003) that usually go for only 10-20$.

	With most internetstupidheads, I would assume that it would make sense to continue suggesting alternatives, but when Jonsered says, "it has to be PowerPoint," I am going to assume that he means what he says.

	Well if he doesnt want to pay that much money for it, that leaves few options besides piracy. And I dont know what this forums views on that are, so I figured I would refrain from posing any warez links...

	What about an Educational license copy? The license is really written such that almost anyone can qualify, and there is no responsibility for any one to confirm your eligibility.
