I don't think it was a bad idea.. drama like whats going on right now in the pissed off board usually dies within a day or two if just left in one thread. once threads start getting locked then it just gets dragged into other threads and no one wants to deal with that. if left in one thread in a private board then the stupid interwebz drama is totally avoidable.

It's simple... you've got a personal beef with someone, that's what PM is for.
It pisses me off when people drag their personal shit into a public forum. It's drama, it's bullshit and I don't like it. It harbors nasty feelings and ill will and makes everyone roll their eyes while collectively thinking the same thing, "fer fucks sake...'

I still don't like it. Back when this forum was created, discussions dragged on without lock so long as forum rules were not broken. Things went well, nobody got butthurt and left the site or went home and cut themselves. Opinions were aired, frustrations vented and shit went well.

Also for the most part, this IS a group of teenagers, or young adults with the maturity of teenagers, myself included.
