Nah, its French lizard pattern, although I do have a set of Rhodesian elephant ear cammies. I probably have 20 sets. Spanish Saharan, Chinese barbed wire, Dutch, German adn more. Just fun to collect.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

I have always loved firearms.

I am also a big supporter of the 2nd amendment, as well as ALL other parts of the US constitution.

The right to own firearms and defend one's self is a human right.

It is time politicians from all countries learn to respect and tolerate it.

I have never NOT had guns - I have had a gun in my possession since I was 9.
In highschool, we had a rifle/pistol club that shot in the school's basement.
We were allowed to keep our weapons in our lockers.
I am only 30 and am not from the sticks. . . . can you imagine a kid today riding a city bus with 3 guns and 1000 rounds of ammo??
It makes me very sad to think my daughters will not have the same freedom and my grandkids will hear all of this with awe.

DevilC, you're from NOVA?

Same here, Loudoun County.

Maybe someday this country will wake up, and target ranges in school basements will become a reality again.

Well, just like Wilky said, I was born into it.

My grandfather was a gun dealer. He started in 1946 and stopped sometime in the early 90's. He traveled the show circuit, and developed quite a reputation. Even though he was an uneducated farm boy, he developed an incredible knowledge of firearms. He had so many firearms come into, and leave, his possession that I could never name them all.

Naturally, my father was also interested in firearms, having grown up with them and traveled to many shows with grandpa. Pops developed a love for modern firearms. He went on to shoot for the Air Force team, become an NRA instructor in handguns, rifles, & shotguns, and pretty much master the art of reloading. He was also the Virginia state representative for Sporting Clays.

As for me, I love all firearms. Old and new. With those two influences, it couldn't have been any other way. I started shooting at 5 years old, and have never stopped. Hell, I never even owned a BB gun. Why would I? I had real guns!

ps - Our family is from the mountains of SW Virginia. Just another factor in always having firearms around.

I actually meant "wow" on Porkchop's comment... Both the girl and the gun aren't that impressive. Seen better girls, and seen better guns.

Fellas, allow me to explain myself.

1) I was quoting a line from "Full Metal Jacket". I thought it fit with the chick and the AK.

2) When you reach my age, you stop caring about wether a woman is a little too thin or a little too heavy!

I hear that brother I likem in a variety of sizes.

Same with guns I'll have to take some pics of mine, I got a rare little pocket auto you might laugh at, by Auto Nine Corp, US made holds 7 rds .22 RF smaller than avg .25ACP will empty the mag fast as you can operate the trigger first time evey time anytrhing from Stingers to XX to low vel target stuff

I like to demo it to friends by holding it in the left hand and whipping the right index finger back and forth on the trig, rips off 7 rds so fast you cant count them

the next thing I do is squeeze off 7 rds aimed all in the green at 25yds, most people I show it too dont believe what they just saw, (its more accurate than my much more expensive Walther TPH)

where i live, we all have weapons of some sort. My friend Willards' house was an arsenal when we were kids. One room of the house was nothing but rifles and ammunition, cleaning kits, for said rifles. Down one wall, across the far wall and back up the other one... rifles, shotguns. Upstairs, in his dads' room was nothing but pistols and the accessories for them. The first pistol I ever fired was a .357 magnum and it damn near broke my wrist, but wow, what a rush.

as i said, guns are just a way of life here... there are virtually no homes without them and the majority of people with them know how to use them.
