I just get pissed off when so many people who don't know a thing about politics support him with such blind enthusiasm. Sometimes I think the majority of his supporters like him because they feel like they could "have a beer with him" and since they drive a Prius he is the right choice. He is a rookie when it comes to foreign policy, hell he thought the U.N. would intervene in Georgia! The god damn Russians have a seat on the U.N., he obviously doesn't know that you have to have unanimous support in the U.N. to have any kind of military action approved. And don't get me started on economics, sometimes I think I learned more in economics 101 that he knows. He wants to tax successful companies so they don't make too much money. Doesn't he realize that the heavy hitter companies that are so "evil" are also the companies that millions of Americans are hedging their retirement on their success? Which means making money! oh wait, nevermind. We should all sacrifice for the good of the country so when all those people lose their retirement the government will support them. What the hell was I thinking. Everyone can just live in state run housing together. We will call them homes for the financially handicapped.

obama is my senator - and couldn't love the guy more. he's done great for IL - now if we can only get rid of that pesky governor....

That's like saying that cops that get paid off by criminals couldn't afford to be cops if they didn't get the extra money, so we should encourage the criminals to pay the cops. Yet another victory for privatization!

Republicans = Small minds and tight wallets.

Yeah, and this is why I'm not voting. I don't know dick about politics. I'm ashamed to admit it. But I'm not going to vote for the trendy candidate. He may be a great one but I'm not exactly worthy to vote.

Yes, because as we all know, John McCain's base is one of the most well-informed, level-headed groups of voters out there.

Look at where blind enthusiasm towards Republicans has gotten the world during the past seven years. Regardless of whether or not Obama's supporters are blind and ill-informed, I say it's time to try something new. It's not like it could get any worse.

I just thought I would let it be known that I don't support McCain either. I feel both of these candidates aren't cut out for the presidency. The only candidate this year that I think actually had some common sense was Ron Paul.
