Ok so I lied.. I actually saw the Sex Pistols in August 2003, not 2004. I forgot.
Anywho, I was 20 at the time... awesome show. I was right against the stage and managed to touch Johnny Rotten a few times. He even rubbed his nipple for me haha. I thought it was funny how they kept screwing up their own lyrics.

I fucked Jimmy Page after a Zeppelin show back in 75. Or, rather, Jimmy Page fucked me. He was very gentle, and he gave me flowers and a bag of smack afterwards.

I went to Cruefest last night at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, which essentially sucked balls.

We didn't find out until 11 o clock the night before that they had had their liquor license suspended, for Cruefest only, over some infractions a YEAR ago. But they also happened to be taping the whole show for some DVD,so I smell bullshit.

It was cold, rainy, and Trapt,Sixx AM and Papa Roach were kinda blah. Buckcherry kicked ass though, and Motley Crue came out just in time for the major downpour. They played a pretty good show, though I think it's time that Vince Neil packed it in,he seemed to be skipping over alot of the lyrics and such, doing alot more wailing than singing.

So between a huge police presence, freezing cold,no fucking beer and getting drowned like wet rats, this one was far from the best I've ever been to.

Bah. Date and venue details are such a blur for me, but I'll try:

1. Nine Inch Nails - ACC - Aug 2008
2. Nine Inch Nails - Maple Leaf Gardens - 1998-1999
3. David Bowie @ Area 2 - Amphitheater - 2003 or 4? I left when Moby started his set
4. Pearl Jam - MLG - 1999
5. Death Cab for Cutie - Ricoh - 2006 or 2007

I could have just listed NIN five times, because they are the best shows, but I didn't think that would be fair to the other artists.

Alright, I'll add them, a bunch of local bands like them

The Radio Active Chicken Heads

Rosemary's Billygoat

Green Jello

The Fuxedos

I can think of a few more theatrical bands that put on a good show, but they aren't very good musically.

I saw Heart back in whenever...Barracuda. When was that...' 78? 79? My first arena concert. It was awesome. Bikers and fist fights and some dude made a grab for a cop's weapon.

I took a buddy who had never been to a smaller venue concert (he only goes to huge arena shows) and he was blown away. When Shirley Manson shook her head, sweat flew off her and landed on us - THAT'S intimate, LOL. You don;t get that at a super arena.

took me a bit to think about this one. this is no particular order.

Enduser - seen twice, not disappointed either time.
Detritus - ive never seen one person pound back that many beers then put on a show.
Iszoloscope - this year at Kenetik Festival. having Nadons assistance live really put the show over the top. already planning on going to kenetik `09.
Tool - at lolapawhatever way back when.
Belladonnakillz - at the Albion a couple of years ago.

the runner up has got to be No Means No at the Horseshoe about three years ago.

should have seen it; standing room only would be an understatement. I was able to not only crowd surf, but walk on my knees. I snuck into the show, got wasted with a half-paralyzed born-again-christian, and got a bunch of free merch from the skulls. You should have seen all the shit we put security through. Amazing.
