I'm away from home for another couple of weeks (finally bought a Laptop though!) for Targa Newfoundland. I'm crew cheif for the Mistubishi factory team, but damn there are some SWEET cars here (I'm really partial to the Mopar prepped '09 Challenger with the "Drag Pack")

Anyhow, check out the website if you're not familiar with the race, www.targanewfoundland.com

Looks pretty cool.

We have Targa Australia and Targa West here, too. Lots of extremely cool cars, ranging from old farts in Porkers, to full on race drivers in all but race cars. We usually have no shortage of Evo's of most types from III to VIII, Boxsters, GT3's, Chrysler Crossfires, Rexies, you name it.

Is there really any truth to the house that gets hit often? Sure, I've never been there, so I don't know the layout, but really?

Yes, there really is the house that gets hit "that often". It's a bad corner, the other way, you land in the ocean, which somebody did in a 944 last year. Nozzmiester, there's actually a team here from Australia running a GORGEOUS '70 911, with and RSR spec engine. One of the nicest early 911's I've seen.

I actually had the opportunity to tow that Challenger back to the ferry today after he split the oilpan open on a practice today. As everyone knows, I love my imports, but good god this is a sexy car. The intake manifold looks like the fucking Eiffel tower (You could stuff a bag of ice under it no problem!), the road going version of the car will come with AEM based engine management (FULLY programmable, right out of the box), I think I'm in love.

Ah sweet. Is it that yellow one, perchance? He sometimes circuit races it, too.

Im glad someone mentioned the new Challenger. I spent a good hour walking around the Dodge dealer down the street looking at the new ones. The orange one is sweet. I want one.
