How do I find Online Resources 4 finding eMail providers in Boston?

Dear all-

My aunt currently uses (I believe) hostasaurus (because it’s "cheap") for her business website and to download eMail to her website domain URL as part of her eMail address. Problem is it’s "POP" not IMAP, so she can only download eMails to ONE computer, and she gets FLOODED with spam attacking Outlook & Windows XP (it’s not kept up to date).

I *believe* her ISP is Comcast "business class" (I believe they wanted a pricey amount for supporting her site), and her former ISP (supplied her original office eMail address, so I *believe* she’s also paying to have eMails sent to her prior address forwarded to her website domain eMail address) was Galaxy aka gis.net (which provided AWFUL service).

Does anyone know of websites I can search for eMail providers in downtown Boston, which keeps website domain as part of her eMail address AND is an IMAP server?

Please advise & thanks

google is a good place to start. i took the liberty of adding 'secure' to the search terms using IMAP+SSL is always a good idea. email is a plaintext protocol after all!

theres a metafilter article in there with some suggestions if you drop the 'boston' off the search. keep in mind that your email services dont really need to be hosted geographically close to you unless you have some sort of special requirement for that (or are just more comfortable with it).

speaking of google and gmail, i did hear that they have started a domain email hosting service that has all of the features of Gmail PLUS using yourdomain.com. im not sure of the cost, but Gmail has a pretty ideal system (IMAP+SSL, good spam filtering, web access, google apps for business, clean interface, the list goes on...).

I greatly appreciate your response. Geeze what hasn't been taken over by Google!?!

I would recommend she go the free email route by using AIM mail, but that means she will not look as professional by dropping the website's domain name as part of the address.
