Why are people sheep?

In one day gas prices have spiked 90 cents to a dollar or more! People are flooding to the gas stations and buying all the gas they can. The local station here is charging $5.50 for premium for example....Nothing has happen yet to cause prices to go up...I support higher gas prices as it limits wasteful driving. But this clear price gouging is crazy and no penalties arise from it.

People complain about gas prices and gathering emergency supplies but never do anything about it. Right before shit hits the fan they flood the stores and buy shit they don't really need. (Do you really need bread and milk and a massive pack of batteries?)

Every year Hurricane season comes and goes and the government and 90% of the people are not prepared for it.

I am glad I drive a scooter and keep 5 gallons at home. =)

Charlotte exit 17 off 77 on WT Harris BP is 4.79 for regular
Lawyers RD and Wilgrove is 4.39 but premium only left.

The goons here in the Toronto area charging USD$4.93 per gallon (aka CAD$1.38 per litre)!!! It's even more in Montreal (upwards of USD$5.37 per gallon)!!!

and Robin Hayes our congressman is getting off his useless butt for once and looking into it...Most likely nothing will happen. I think that stations caught gouging should be required to give away free gas or something.

Yesterday morning I just went to a random gas station and filled up at something like $3.60 a gallon.

My wife had to fill up on the way home at about 10 pm last night, and the only station that was under $4.00 had an hour long line to get gas.

average is about $3.89 for 87 octane
$4.03-$4.19 for super unleaded.

Which is some better than it was, not much, but some.

Now with the hurricane hitting Galveston and the coast of Texas, we all might be feeling the pinch.

There's oil drilling facilities there for Exxon/Mobil. It looked as if it it was going to hit those facilities head on.

Which I assume meant over $3.99.

I don't get gas that much though. Don't drive very far.

Regular Unleaded
3.60 - 3.30

In areas of the country like Florida and Tennessee, gas is going for somewhere between 4.99 and 5.50 a gallon according to the news.

My aunt was bitching last night. She leaves for her winter home in Ormond Beach, Florida, about five miles from Daytona, in a little over two weeks. She called yesterday and it was up to 4.99 for regular.

We can't wait for her to go back, seriously. Since all she does is bitch.

Gas is getting hard to find in the Nashville area. My roommate said every gas station between his work and our house was out. I work on another side of town, and it's the same thing over here. I got a tip from a guy who delivers baggage for the airport and drove out there tonight to fill up. Of the three stations on that strip, one was out of gas and another was out of diesel.

One station here is in a lot of trouble for charging $7.30 ish a gallon. Gas is still short here so I fill my scooter daily whenever I see it. Even if it is only .30-.40 cents.
